Corey Mundy of the men's cross country team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of October.

Mundy was selected twice as the Student-Athlete of the Week in the October.

Mundy broke the school's 8K record with a time of 24:29.75 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships Oct. 26 at Americus, Ga. His time was the best in the 85-man field and helped Flagler to a fourth-place finish. Mundy broke Troy Holland's record time of 24:53, which was set back in 1984. Mundy also earned first-team all-conference honors. He became Flagler's first men's runner to win the PBC Championships. Mundy also finished fourth out of the non-Division I runners at the Florida State Invitational (Oct. 11).
