Ben Bobbitt of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 20.

Bobbitt averaged a team-high 17.0 points and 3.3 assists per game in the three games the Saints played during the week. He scored a season-high 26 points, 24 of which came in the second half, in a 97-91 loss at Florida Tech. Bobbitt tallied 13 and 12 points, respectively, in his first two Peach Belt Conference games.

Bobbitt is averaging 9.4 points and 2.5 assists per game for the Saints this year. He has made 10 3-pointers and is shooting 75% from the free throw line.
