Todd Juliano of the baseball team was selected as the Diamond in the Rough for the month of March, sponsored by Nettles Fine Jewelry.

"Todd is an exemplary student-athlete and has been an unsung hero in regards to the success of our team thus far," said head baseball coach Dave Barnett. "He was a late walk-on player who transferred here from Miami-Dade CC. Todd is from New Jersey and he chose Flagler for its academics and had an older brother who graduated from here. I told him in the fall it would probably be an uphill battle for him to get a lot of playing time and he was willing to accept whatever role we had for him. He has emerged as our starting third baseman as he beat out a recruited player. He has shown great leadership skills and is a class act both on the field and off the field. Todd is a solid student who is also very well-liked and respected by his teammates."
