Katie Gouch of the cheerleading team was selected as the Diamond in the Rough for the month of November, sponsored by Nettles Fine Jewelry.
Even as a freshman on the squad, Katie Gouch has already shown wonderful qualities which both support and make the cheerleading squad shine. Never tardy, Katie is consistently on time to all practices and games. While maintaining a perfect 4.0 in her first semester, Katie has not once missed a single team event.
She is the epitome of school spirit. Katie is always one of the first to volunteer for school and community events, where she is always positive and never complains. As coaches, we see that Katie is there for her teammates, both in and out of practice.
Thanks to Katie, the Flagler cheerleading squad is an even stronger program.
