Treva Mason of the women's basketball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by the Hampton Inn & Suites Vilano Beach, for the month of February.

Mason was selected as the student-athlete of the week on Feb. 23.

Mason averaged a double-double for the Saints in the month of February with 12.6 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. She made 60.3% (35-58) from the field and made 81.8% (18-22) from the free throw line. Mason scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds vs. Armstrong (Feb. 15). She tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds in the final home game of the season vs. UNC Pembroke (Feb. 22).

For the season, Mason is averaging a double-double with 10.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. She is also shooting a team-best 56.6% (109-294) from the field.
