Emilee Taylor of the volleyball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 30.

Taylor helped lead Flagler to a 3-0 week with a win at No. 8 (NAIA) Embry-Riddle aeronautical University and two more victories (Augusta State and Montevallo) to open the Peach Belt Conference season. She averaged 3.90 kills, 3.30 digs and 0.90 blocks per set. At ERAU, she recorded fourth double-double of the season with 15 kills and 17 digs. In the PBC opener vs. Augusta State, she hit a season-high .393 with 12 kills and one error on 28 swings. Taylor added 10 digs and a season-high five total blocks.

She ranks in the top five in the league in kills, kills per set, total attacks and points per set. Taylor is sixth in solo blocks.
