Casey Gnann of the volleyball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 9.

Gnann led the defense with 110 digs (6.88/set) in four matches last week. She also served up a team-high eight aces and added 11 assists. Gnann was one dig shy of tying her career-high when she collected 33 digs vs. No. 20 Wingate on Saturday (Sept. 8).

For the season, Gnann leads the team with 188 digs and is averaging 6.96 digs per set. Her 11 aces also leads the team. Gnann leads the Peach Belt Conference in digs and digs per set.
