Brett Moreland of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 29.

This is the second consecutive week Moreland has been named student-athlete of the week and the third time this season.

Moreland helped lead Flagler to a 3-1 week after batting .500 (9-for-18) with a double, home run, four runs batted in and four runs scored. His solo home run on Sunday proved to be the game-winning hit in Flagler's 4-2 win against Columbus State.

Moreland led the team with a .385 batting average and collected a team-high 80 hits, four triples, 113 total bases and scored 36 runs. He led the club in slugging percentage (.543) and on-base percentage (.419).
