Flagler College Athletics

Jarrod Branco of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Jan. 29.

Branco played an integral role in snapping Flagler's 11-game losing streak last Saturday at North Georgia. He scored 16 of his team-high 18 points in the second half and had a critical steal when the Saints led by two points with 52 seconds left to help secure the win. Branco sank four 3-pointers, one of which tied the game at 49.

For the season, he is averaging 11.0 points, 2.8 assists, and a team-high 1.4 steals per game.
