Lydell Manigo of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending January 11.

Manigo helped lead Flagler to a 2-1 week as he averaged 19.0 points per game and shot a red-hot 64.9% (24-37) from the field. He torched the University of South Carolina Aiken for a career-high 26 points in a 94-82 win last Saturday. Manigo made 11 of 14 from the field which included a pair of three-pointers. He also tallied two assists, two steals and blocked a shot. Last Monday (Jan. 5), Manigo tallied 17 points in a loss at USC Aiken and then scored 14 points on 6 of 9 shooting at Francis Marion (Jan. 7).

For the season, Manigo is second on the team in scoring with a 14.9 ppg average. He leads the team with a 51.4 shooting percentage, has a 5-2 rebounds per game average and is second on the team in blocked shots with 11.
