Flagler College Athletics

Olivia Snipes of the women's volleyball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 20. She was selected as the student-athlete of the week last week.

Snipes helped lead Flagler to its second Southeast Region title in the last three years. In three matches, she averaged 11.55 assists per set and 2.91 digs per set. She earned all-tournament honors. In the regional final at No. 14 Wingate, she tallied 52 assists and recorded 21 digs. It was the 12th time this year she has recorded 50 or more assists and the 21 digs were second only to the 23 she had at UNC Pembroke this season.


For the season, Snipes is averaging 11.60 assists and 2.50 digs per set. She has recorded a team-high 18 double-doubles.
