Brittany D'Addio of the women's soccer team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 4. She is the first student-athlete of the week recipient for the 2011-12 academic year.

D'Addio picked the right time to score her first two collegiate goals as they were both game winners this week. She scored off a free kick the 61st minute to give Flagler a 3-2 lead over Anderson in the season opener. Against Limestone, D'Addio booted home a goal from about 25 yards out in the 88th minute in Flagler's 2-1 win.

She has been instant offense for the Saints coming off the bench and playing 106 minutes. D'Addio has taken just two shots, but both proved to be clutch.
