Flagler College Athletics

Ollie Bertrand of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete o f the Week for the period ending Apr. 3.

Bertrand batted .400 (4-10) with a home run, five runs batted in and scored two runs to help lead Flagler to a 2-1 week. In Sunday's game at USC Aiken, Bertrand hit a two-run home run to give Flagler a 4-3 lead, and then hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th to score the winning run.

For the season, Bertrand is batting .296 with three doubles, a home run, 12 RBI and seven runs scored.
