Flagler College Athletics

Loren Cate of the women's soccer team has been selected as the Student-Athlete of the Week, sponsored by TraveLynx - the official bus company of Flagler athletics, for the period ending Sept. 12.

Cate helped lead Flagler to a 1-1 week by scoring three goals, including a pair in a Peach Belt Conference opening victory over the University of Montevallo on Saturday. She also tallied a goal in a loss to No. 14 (NAIA) Embry-Riddle earlier in the week.

For the season, Cate leads the Saints in goals (4) and points (9). She also has both of Flagler's game winning goals.
