Flagler College Athletics

Heather Hill of the softball team was selected as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 4.

Hill batted a red-hot .550 for the week with a team-leading 11 hits including two doubles, a triple, a home run to go along with a team-high six runs batted in. She was also 4-for-6 in stolen bases. Hill slugging percentage for the week was .900 and she only struck out once in 20 at bats.

She did the bulk of her damage for the week in Flagler's doubleheader sweep of Lees-McRae. Hill went 7-for-11 with four RBI in the two games.

For the season, she is batting .300 with a team-high six home runs and has collected 21 RBI.
