Flagler College Athletics

Eddie Fowler was named the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Jan. 17.

Fowler scored a team-high 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field, added six rebounds (five offensive boards), one assist and one blocked shot in a 72-66 loss at home to No. 13 Montevallo.

For the season, Fowler is averaging 13.9 points per game in 12 games played. He is shooting 47.6% (68-143) from the the field.
