Andrew Brodbeck of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 1.
This is the second time this spring Brodbeck has been selected as the athlete of the week (Feb. 15).
Brodbeck helped lead Flagler to a 2-1 week with a team-leading .417 batting average (5-for-12). He held a 1.250 slugging percentage to go along with a .533 on-base percentage. Brodbeck hit a double, three home runs, collected seven runs batted in and scored seven runs. He walked three times and stole a base. Brodbeck was perfect in the field on 12 total chances.
In a 10-1 thumping of Rollins College on Wednesday, Brodbeck went 3-for-5 with two home runs to go along with a double, five RBI and five runs scored. He went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the first game at Francis Marion on Saturday. 
Brodbeck leads the Peach Belt Conference in runs scored (27), walks (14) and stolen bases (11). He is second in on-base percentage (.571), fifth in home runs (3), and seventh in batting average (.423) and slugging percentage (.673).
