WINTER PARK, Fla. – In their second straight road outing to open the season, the Flagler men's soccer team (0-0-2) turned in a 2-2 draw at No. 2 Rollins (2-0-1) on Tuesday evening. A rematch of last season's NCAA Tournament Third Round match, the Tars used a late equalizer in the 86
th minute to escape with a draw.
Tim Wahlborg provided the offense for the Saints, netting a pair of first half goals.

TURNING POINT
Flagler jumped on Rollins quick as Daniel Freire sent a pass from the right side of the pitch to the top of the box. The pass found a striding
Tim Wahlborg who ripped a beautiful bender to the top right corner of the net for the first goal of the night, which was only 44 seconds into the action. The quick score was the fastest goal scored by a Flagler men's soccer player since 2021 when Matteo Costa netted home a goal 36 seconds into action against Lander.
The Saints remained on the attack and extended their early lead in the 22
nd minute.
Callum Stokes sent a cross into the box, finding the head of
Tim Wahlborg who put a shot on target. Following the initial save from the Rollins goalkeeper, the deflection came right back to Wahlborg who finished the goal in the top of the net.
Just nine minutes later, the match turned as the Saints were issued a red card, forcing the visitors to play a man down for the remaining 59 minutes. Rollins capitalized on the advantage with 30 seconds remaining in the opening half as Tolu Junaid found the back of the net to cut into the deficit before the break.
Despite being a man down, the Flagler backline held strong for the next 42 minutes of action to cling to a 2-1 lead. In the 86
th minute, the Tars found the equalizer as Finlay Prain sent a left footer to the top left corner of the net to tie the game 2-2. Both offenses would exchange a shot over the final four minutes, but neither connected as the tournament rematch ended in a draw.

- Senior Tim Wahlborg turned in his second career brace behind a game-high four shots on goal over 54 minutes of work.
- Dani Freire set up the first goal of the match with his second career assist, and first of the young season.
