ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Brooke Rienecker and Phoebe Davidson's two piece earned the Flagler College women's soccer team (1-3-1) their first win of the season in this afternoons Peach Belt Conference opener against Middle Georgia State University. Flagler's defense checked in their first shutout of the season.

TURNING POINT
Erupting in the first half of play, senior midfielder Brooke Rienecker opened the net up in the 11th minute off an assist from Phoebe Davidson. Staying warm, the Saints ripped off 10 more shots to close out the first half, with Netanya Brown widening the gap in the 43rd minute from Adriana Davey. A stout defensive back closed the Knights off from any offensive movement as they recorded zero shots and corner kicks. Registering her first save of the match, Irina Barron-Gomez thwarted Brecklyn Greenfield's attempt which ignited a beautiful third goal for the Saints from the dynamic duo of Rienecker and Davidson ultimately sealing the Saints' first victory.
