GOLDEN, COLO. – After going down the first two sets, the Saints made a huge comeback in the third and fourth set to put the Hawks away in the fifth.

"Yesterday was a pretty challenging day. And today's match didn't start out too well."
Jeff Reynolds said. "We made some lineup adjustments in the third set and it worked out pretty well. Really proud of everyone for the way in which they contributed. This was a complete and total team victory." Reynolds said.
"Our serve receive really started to connect in that third set which allowed our offense to really get rolling. We had a really nice balanced attack." Reynolds said

Gia Lowe, and
Gracie Fleming all reached double-digit kills today to put away the Hawks.
OPENING VOLLEY
- Fleming was a fantastic asset in the win for the Saints today. She collected 15 kills, while hitting .500 and made two blocks
- Lowe added 17 kills of her own on 30 attempts, while hitting .400. She grabbed three digs
- Middlebrooks had an insane run today with 19 kills, serving up two aces, nine digs and four blocks. She hit a .286 with 23 points on the day
- Jilly Young continues to lead the offense with 58 assists, one kill, seven digs, and two blocks
- Alyssa McDonald and Deleny Hope led the Hawks with 13 kills each
THE DIFFERENCE
- The Saints went from hitting .163 in the first match, to finishing with a .500 to close the door on the Hawks
- Flagler collected 65 kills to Rockhurst's 60, and served up seven more kills than Rockhurst (8-1)
- After Flagler trailed behind on the first two sets, the Saints kicked it into gear. They stayed ahead in all three matches after that.
- In the last set, the Saints came hot out the gate going ahead 4-1. After going back-and-forth, Flagler went on a three-kill run, a service error and setting error to win the last set.

The Saints will return home to host their Flagler Invitational where they will play in their home opener against Lees-McRae on Friday, September 4
th at 3 p.m. in the Flagler Gym.
