NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The 19-0 Flagler College women's lacrosse team finished the regular season as the No. 1 ranked team in the final reguler season Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Coaches Poll, according to the most recent poll this morning.
The Saints have been on break for the past week after winning the Gulf South Conference Tournament the weekend prior. Ending their season off on a ranked win, Flagler defeated No. 23 University of Alabama in Huntsville, 17-11.
Over the weekend, the Saints were selected as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament. Earning a first round bye, the Saints will host the winner of No. 3 seeded Saint Leo University and No. 6 Young Harris College.
