COLUMBUS, Ga. - In the quarterfinal round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, the No. 17 Flagler College women's tennis team upset the University of North Georgia 4-2 to advance to the championship round this afternoon at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
The Saints defeated North Georgia for the second time this season. Flagler will face top seeded, No. 19 Columbus State University tomorrow at 10 a.m. This is the fifth time in six years the Saints have advanced to the championship round of the conference tournament.
Dropping the doubles point, the Saints rallied back to secure the singles point. No. 23

Sofia Balsera defeated Linn Goerdes with her third set 6-3 finish. To gain the lead for the first time today, No. 15
Elena Ondobo defeated No. 34Â Olesya Stokusova 6-3 and 7-5. Clinching the win was court six's
Ornella Lomenzo. Lomenzo took down Emily Bush 6-4 and 7-6 (7-4).
