No. 14 Saints trail by seven strokes going into final round of the PBCs

ST. AUGUSTINE – The No. 14-ranked (SCOREBOARD by clippd) Flagler College women's golf team is in second place with a 40-over par 616 (301-315) after two rounds of play at the Peach Belt Conference Championship, which was played this afternoon at the King and Bear (par 72; 6,093 yards) at the World Golf Village. The final round is tomorrow with a 7:40 a.m. start, but the Saints will tee off beginning at 8:30 a.m. on hole No. 10.

Three Saints - Sofia Terzoli, Victoria Veator, and Henriette Stranda - are in the top 10. Terzoli and Veator are tied for third place with an 8-over 152. Stranda is tied for ninth place with a 13-over 157 (79-78).

Mackenzie Connell of the University of North Georgia holds the lead for the second consecutive day as she leads the 34-woman field with a 2-over par 146 (73-73). Sakurako Tanaka of Lander University is in second place, four shots back.

No. 15 North Georgia leads the seven-team field with a 33-over 609 (301-308). They were tied with Flagler coming into the day. No. 6 Lander University is in third place with a 45-over 621 (308-313).

Tabitha Hanely and Addison King are in a tie for 15th place with a 16-over 160 for the Saints.
