No. 17 Saints fall to No. 3 Sharks

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Flagler College women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to the 2025 Division II National Championship Runner-Ups, Nova Southeastern University this morning at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills.

Flagler returned to full strength but fell to a 6-7 record while the Sharks advanced to 10-3 overall. The Saints will host Valdosta State University next, on Wednesday, Mar. 25 at 2 p.m.

Dropping the doubles point, Eryka Kruk and Marie Fairier faced No. 1 Kristyna Hranacova and Katja Markus. Performing the best out of any pair, Kruk and Fairier fell 6-3. In singles, No. 12 Kruk met No. 1 Hranacova again, falling 6-2 and 6-4. No. 17 Elena Ondobo tied Kruk for the best singles performance out of the Saints, falling to Markus 6-4 and 6-2. Playing on court three, Fairier faced the last remaining ranked player, No. 29 Chloe Henderson, falling 6-2 and 6-0.
