Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The No. 17 Flagler College women's tennis team rallied back in singles play to defeat University of Tampa 5-2 this afternoon at the Pollard Tennis Center.

The Saints earned their third win in a row and third ranked win of the season, moving to 5-6 overall. The Spartans fell to 6-8. The Saints will have a busy weekend, as they host Palm Beach Atlantic University on Mar. 21 at 9 a.m. After the conclusion of that match the Saints will travel to Nova Southeastern University to play the No. 3 Sharks on Mar. 22.

Doubles came down to the wire, ultimately handing the point to the Spartans. Not to be swept, court three featuring Ornella Lomenzo and Sofia Balsera defeated Max Lippens and Mia Zorrilla 6-2.

Singles rattled off four unanswered wins to give the Saints the victory. No. 17 Elena Ondobo defeated Nicole Casas first, 6-1 and 6-2. Lomenzo stayed undefeated on the day, taking the second point from Lippens, 7-5 and 6-0. Following was Marie Fairier who defeated Karine Kulidjian in two 6-2 sets. the clinching win came from Balsera who took down Linn E. Sundling 6-3 and 6-2. In a nail biting final match, No. 12 Eryka Kruk defeated Rebecca Presley 6-3, 5-7 and 1-0(16-14)
