TEMPE, Ariz. – The Flagler College men's tennis team moved up two spots to No. 3 according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division II Coaches Poll, which was released Wednesday afternoon.
Flagler is currently 7-1 overall and hosts No. 39 Lenoir-Rhyne University this afternoon.
There are five PBC teams, including Flagler, that are ranked in the top 50. The University of North Georgia is ranked No. 12 while Augusta University comes in at No. 21. Lander University is ranked No. 24 and Columbus State University is ranked No. 42.
Barry University tops the ranking and the University of West Florida follow in second. Wayne State University of Michigan and the University of Texas Tyler follow Flagler at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.
Ilian Borlee is ranked No. 12 in singles. He holds a 14-1 record.
Simon Malis is ranked No. 19 with an 11-4 mark.
Aniss Rafiq checks in at No. 24 with a 4-3 record.
Aly El Rafie is No. 32 and holds a 9-2 record while
Raphael Rousson is 9-3 this season and is ranked No. 37.
The next ranking period is March 18.
