ST. AUGUSTINE - The Flagler College men's tennis team was ranked at No. 3 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's first spring rankings, released on Wednesday per organization officials.

This past weekend the Saints competed at the ITA DII Indoor National Championship, hosted at the University of Indianapolis. While there, the Saints placed third after going 2-1. In the first round of the tournament the Saints defeated then No. 9 Azusa Pacific University 4-1. In the semifinal round, the Saints fell to then No. 4 University of West Florida 4-2. For the third place match the Saints defeated then No. 6 Washburn University 4-1.

Rounding out the top five at No. 1 is Barry University, followed by No. 2 West Florida. Washburn is ranked No. 4 with University of Texas at Tyler claiming the No. 5 spot.
