LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Flagler College men's lacrosse team slipped to No. 17 in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) Division II Top 20 poll that was released Tuesday.
Flagler holds a 1-1 record. The Saints are coming off a 14-8 victory over Lynn University after opening the season with a tough 8-7 loss at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The Saints remain the only school from the Peach Belt Conference to be nationally ranked. Lander University received votes.
Adelphi University holds onto the top spot as it received 18 first-place votes. The University of Tampa holds a No. 2 and earned two first-place votes. Saint Anselm College remains at No. 3. Wingate University moved up one spot to No. 4. Maryville University slipped to No. 5.
Flagler plays its home opener this Saturday against Tampa.
