ST. AUGUSTINE - Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association No. 12 Flagler College women's lacrosse team set a new program record for largest margin of victory this afternoon in their 24-2 win against Saint Michael's College.
Expanding on their best start in program history, the Saints elevated to 4-0 on the season while the Purple Knights fell to 0-2. The Saints will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 21 where they will face the Scottish National Team.
Dating back to their program's first match, Flagler's five year standing record of largest margin of victory came against Webber International University, where Flagler won 25-4. This is now the third time the Saints have scored 24 or more goals in a single match.
The Saints began the match with a 10 goal run, all in the first period and their largest of the day. Within the first minute of the match, the Saints found their first goal, from
Jessica Wright. Through the match, 13 individual Saints found the back of the net.

Kylie Budke each registered a hat trick. Budke finished the match with the most points as she added two assists.
Virginia Fisher,
Maya Elwood, Wright,
Jill Gironda and
Ava Lambros were the final Saints to score two goals.
Smothering the Purple Knights on defense, the Saints put their three goal keepers into action, with
Dakota Capolino and
Marissa Dolciato leading the match with four saves. Capolino and freshman
Tessa Winslow both had a perfect save percentage. On the field, six Saints caused a turnover in

Molly Sloan,
Ava Allamon Ella Parks and Fisher. Dominating the draw control, the Saints, led by
Greta McGinnis who had four, finished with 22 total wins.
