INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Following a 2-0 week that featured a pair of sweeps in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play, the Flagler College volleyball team remained No. 2 in the Southeast Region in the latest NCAA Power Index (NPI), released Monday morning.

The NPI is a data-driven ranking system used in NCAA Division II to elevate team performance. The formula considers a team's win and losses, strength of schedule, and quality of opponents to determine its NPI value and national ranking.

The Saints are coming off a successful weekend in which they recorded back-to-back sweeps defeating Middle Georgia State University 3-0 on Friday night and against 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the victories, Flagler maintained its position atop the PBC standings and claimed the PBC regular-season title.

In the latest rankings, Flagler remained No. 17 nationally with an NPI of 62.610.

Six other PBC teams appeared in the Southeast Region rankings. Flagler leads the conference at No. 17, followed by USCA at No. 53 (57.456), Augusta at No. 187 (47.179), Georgia College at No. 197 (46.537), Lander at No. 213 (45.186), and Middle Georgia at No. 270 (38.455).
