ST. AUGUSTINE –
Tymoteusz Pszczola scored a game high 17 points and led five Flagler College players in double figures in a 103-47 rout of Trinity College of Florida in a non-conference men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Flagler Gymnasium.
Flagler, who has won four-of-its-last-five games, improved to 10-5. Trinity, a member of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association, dropped to 1-11. Up next for the Saints is Lander University in a Peach Belt Conference game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Flagler Gym.
The Saints trailed early, 8-7, but reeled off a 24-4 run over the next 7:11 to put the game away.
Hoku Fisher ignited the run with a dunk. He scored eight points in that span.
Melvin Teal added a season high 14 points and five rebounds for Flagler.
Camden Andrews contributed 13 points and a season-best nine assists. Fisher finished with 13 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
Tariq Daughton chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.
All 11 players that played in the game for Saints scored at least four points. Flagler made 15 three-pointers as a team, the most it has made since Nov. 20, 2024 when it made 17 treys. The Saints won the rebound battle 50-20, which included 17 offensive rebounds that led to 29 second chance points.
Matthew Suarez and Brock D'Allessandro each scored 16 points to lead the Tigers.
