COLUMBUS, Ga. - The No. 4-ranked (ITA Division II Top 50) Flagler College men's tennis team defeated Lander University 4-1 this morning to advance to the Peach Belt Conference Championship at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
Flagler won its eighth consecutive match and improved to 18-2. This will be their fourth consecutive conference championship appearance. Lander ends their season with a 12-7 record. The Saints will play the University of North Georgia tomorrow at 10 a.m. for the title and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

Simon Malis and
Ilian Borlee took the first win of the day against Brendan Jayaprakash and Harry Pugh, 6-1.
Makary Adamek and
Filip Kana sent the Saints into singles up one with their 6-2 win against Merlin Bellet and Ludvig Danielsson.
In singles, No. 27 Malis wrapped up his match against Bellet first, 6-4 and 6-0. Following, Malis was Borlee who had a 7-5 and 6-2 win against Markus Sorensen. To send the Saints back to the conference championship was
Aly El Rafie who won his three set match against Jayaprakash. El Rafie took set one 6-3 then closed out on a 6-4 in the third.
