NINETY SIX, S.C. – The Flagler College men's golf team finished in sixth place with a 10-over par 874 (292-288-294) at the Bearcat Classic, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon at The Patriot Golf Course at Grand Harbor (par 72; 7,054 yards).

Up next for the Saints is the Bobcat Invitational, March 17-18, at Milledgeville, Georgia and Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee is the course.

No. 16 (SCOREBOARD Division II Top 25) Wingate University edged out No. 5 Grand Valley State University for medalist honors with a 17-under 847 (287-276-284). The Lakers carded a 13-under 851 (285-288-278). No. 11 USC Aiken followed in third place with a 6-under 858 (290-289-279). Lenoir-Rhyne University finished a distant fourth with an even par 864 (288-289-287). No. 20 Lander University, the host school, rounded out the top five with a 9-over 873 (298-293-282).

Jordan Hyland of Wingate topped the 108-man leaderboard. He carded an 11-under 205 (69-67-69). Aaron Lin of Lander, who played as an individual, finished two shots back with a 9-under 207 (72-69-66). Brandon Skidmore of Wingate and Bryce Wheeler of Grand Valley State tied for third place with a 7-under 209. Edward Rahm of Lander finished in fifth place with a 5-under 211 (73-72-66).

Joel Petersson and Nic Eberhard led the Flagler contingent. Petersson finished in 16^th place with a 1-under 215 (71-72-72). Eberhard tied for 17^th place with an even par 216 (73-68-75). Matthew French tied for 34^th place with a 5-over 221 (76-72-73). Dylan Mason finished one shot back with a 6-over 222 (72-76-74), which was good for a tie for 39^th place. Gabriele Romani, who played as an individual, finished in a tie for 58^th place with a 11-over 227 (75-79-73). Rocco Randazzo rounded out the team with a 21-over 237.
