AUGUSTA, Ga. - For the second time this season, Dana Heimen of the Flagler College women's tennis team is named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, per conference officials this afternoon.

Last week, the Saints faced off and went undefeated against No. 4 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, No. 7 the University of Nebraska at Kearney and No. 12 Angelo State University. During these matches, Heimen and doubles partner, Anastasia Nikolova, went 3-0 and upset two top-10 doubles pairings. Versus the Lopers, the two Saints defeated No. 6 Tanya Midzi and Narindra Ranaivo, 7-5. Against the Rams, Heimen and Nikolova defeated No. 9 Avery Durham and Eva Shwartz 6-3. In the final match of the week, against the Eagles, the pair took down No. 41 Laura Cuesta Bret and Carla Cabero Del Hierro 6-2.

In singles, Heimen defeated two ranked players while going 3-0 overall. Against Nebraska-Kearney, she defeated No. 9 Fabiana Gamboa in three sets. Facing No. 24 Cuesta Bret again, Heimen took the match in two sets.
