TEMPLE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its first national rankings of the 2025-26 season with
Eryka Kruk and
Elena Ondobo being the two Flagler College women's tennis players ranked.
Kruk and Ondobo earned their highest ranking in their career. For the first time in her career, Kruk is ranked nationally at 25 while Ondobo is ranked 36.
In the regional rankings, the Saints occupy three of the 20 ranked singles players. Flagler is one of three institutes to have three players in the rankings. Kruk is the highest ranked Saint in the poll, entering at fourth while Ondobo enters at sixth.
Sofia Balsera is regionally ranked for the first time in here career as she is ranked 10th.
During the fall, Kruk advanced to the semifinal round of the ITA Southeast Regional, the furthest advancement of any Flagler player. Entering the tournament, Kruk was the eighth seed. In her journey to the semifinal round, Kruk upset the third seed Anastasiia Opolska 7-5 and 6-2. Ondobo entered as the eighth seed and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the tournament. As the 16th seed, Balsera advanced to the round of 16 where she fell in three sets.
