FLORENCE, S.C. –
Rahdir Hicks scored a team-high 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists, and had a pair of steals in Flagler College's 78-72 overtime loss to Emory & Henry College at the Southeast Region Crossover Saturday afternoon at the Smith University Center.
Flagler leaves with a 1-1 overall record as does Emory & Henry. The home opener for the Saints is Tuesday against Trinity College of Jacksonville at 7 p.m.
In the overtime period, Flagler jumped out to a 70-66 lead after a
Jordan Smith three-pointer. The Wasps would go on to score the next 10 points and went on to win the game. Jackson Crawford sank a three-pointer with seven seconds left to give Emory & Henry a 73-70 lead. He sank three more free throws to add to the lead.
Tariq Daughton added 12 points for the Saints. Smith finished with 11.
Camden Andrews and
Mason Manning each supplied 10 points.
Tymoteusz Pszczola grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
Crawford finished with a game-high 18 points for Emory & Henry. Korbin Dixon added 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Jaden Andrew chipped in with 14 points thanks to a perfect 8-for-8 day from the free throw line.
