TEMPLE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its first national rankings of the 2025-26 season with
Ilian Borlee and
Simon Malis being the two Flagler College men's tennis players ranked. Malis ranks 27th and Borlee ranks 29th.
In the regional rankings, the Saints occupy four of the 20 ranked singles players. Flagler is the only school to feature three or more players in the rankings. Malis is the highest ranked Saint in the poll, entering at third. Borlee follows close behind in fourth while
Filip Kana and
Raphael Rousson claim 11th and 17th.
During the fall, both Malis and Borlee advanced the furthest in the ITA Southeast Regional for the Saints, both meeting their end in the semifinal round. This marked the furthest that either play advanced to in their career. During the tournament, Borlee upset No. 1 seeded Agustin Mastri 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. Kana entered the Southeast Regional as the 16th seed. Advancing to a career high Round 16, Kana and Rousson both won their two matches in two sets.
