ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College fell to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 2-1 in a non-conference women's soccer match this evening at Saints Field.
With the loss, Flagler moves to 3-5-2 overall. Embry-Riddle improves to 4-0-4. The Saints return to conference play on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against the University of South Carolina Beaufort at Saints Field.

Carrie Consolino scored Flagler's goal in the high left corner.
Flagler applied plenty of pressure to the Embry-Riddle defense and keeper in the second half, but couldn't find the equalizer. The Saints out-shot the Eagles 9-3 in the second half.
Embry-Riddle scored twice in the first half, with the first goal being scored in the 20th minute by Samantha Long. The Eagles' second goal was scored in the 36th minute by Lauryn Mateo; both goals were scored in the high center of the net.
Phoebe Carpenter, making her collegiate debut, tallied three saves for Flagler, while Stella Roane recorded seven saves for Embry-Riddle.
Flagler out-shot Embry-Riddle 13-10 and held an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal. The Eagles controlled the corners 12-4. The Saints acquired eight fouls, while Embry-Riddle received six.
