DADE CITY, Fla. – The No. 9-ranked (SCOREBOARD powered by clippd) Flagler College women's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds of play of the 54-hole Saint Leo Invitational. The Saints shot a 29-over par 605 (309-296) today at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club's South Course (par 72; 6,132 yards). The final round is tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

No. 7 Anderson University has a commanding lead over the 11-team field with a 12-under 564 (280-284). No. 14 Florida Southern College is in second place with a 5-over 581 (299-282). No. 26 Barry University follows in third place with an 11-over 587 (292-295) while No. 19 Saint Leo University, the host school, is in fourth place with a 14-over 590 (294-296). Rounding out the top five is No. 15 Nova Southeastern University with a 15-over 591 (299-292).

Leading the 67-woman field is Claudia Hastings of Anderson who shot a 6-under 138 (68-70). She holds a four-stroke lead over a trio of golfers who shot a 2-under 142.

Henriette Stranda and Victoria Veator are tied for 19^th place with a 5-over 149 to lead the Saints. Both shot a 77 and a 72 in the first two rounds. Sofia Terzoli is in a tie for 30^th place with a 7-over 151 (77-74). Tabitha Hanely (+13) is tied for 44^th place while Addison King (+15) is in a logjam at 51^st place.
