Luke Burton scored three goals for Flagler College but it wasn't enough as No. 19 (USILA Division II Coaches Poll) Saint Leo University won 12-8 in a non-conference men's lacrosse game Saturday afternoon at the University Turf Stadium.

The Lions moved to 5-1 overall leaving the Saints at 3-4 for the season thus far.

Saint Leo began to pull away scoring three consecutive goals to start out the second quarter to take a 7-4 lead. Flagler's
Logan Tobias scored to end the first half.

The Lions continued to pull away throughout the second half. Guy Bistrow contributed five goals for the Lions leading them to victory. Michael Flores collected six ground balls and Chase Strait finished with 11 saves,

Despite an unfavorable ending, Saints goalie
Nate Lehr had 11 saves and picked up four ground balls. Another bright spot in the defense was
Blake Gonzalez with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Flagler will hit the road on March 12 to face Barton College at 1 p.m. in Wilson, North Carolina.
