MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – No. 6 (clippd Division II Top 25) Flagler College won the 17-team Emerald Coast Collegiate with an even par 852 (290-284-278) as the 54-hole tournament concluded today at the Baytowne Golf Club (par 71; 5,881 yards).

The Saints broke several program records. The final round 278 is the best team score for 18 holes (previous 285 in 2017), the 852 smashed the 54-hole score by 20 strokes (previous 2022), and the score relative to par was annihilated by the same 20 strokes (2022). The 30-stroke win was the largest margin of victory in the program's history.

Stella Jelinek won her third tournament with an 8-under 205 (71-66-68). She broke some records too. Her second round 66 tied her own record, which she has twice this season. Her 54-hole score, 205, bested the previous mark (by Wheeler in 2022) by seven strokes. Jelinek's score relative to par, -8, beat the previous mark by four (Wheeler in 2020). She was tied for second for the most birdies in the field with 11 and was tied for eighth with 37 pars. Jelinek was tied for first for the best scoring average on par-5 holes (4.58) and was second on the par-4s (3.93).    

Henriette Stranda finished four strokes behind Jelinek for her fourth top-five finish. She carded a 4-under 209 (70-72-67). Stranda posted the best score in the final round. She led the 95-woman field with 13 birdies. Stranda and Jelinek had the same average on the par-5s and both were second on the par-3s with a 2.93 average.

Jordyn Hodgson finished in a tie for fourth place, which was her second top-five this year. She finished with an even par 213 (74-71-68). Hodgson recorded 11 birdies and was tied for 11^th with 36 pars. She was fourth in par-5 scoring average at 4.75. She was third in par-4 scoring average at 4.04.

No. 9 University of Central Missouri and No. 11 St. Mary's University (Texas) tied for second place, 30 strokes behind Flagler. The University of Texas-Permian Basin finished in fourth place with a 35-over 887 (303-291-293). The University of West Florida finished in fifth place with a 47-over 899 (309-300-290).   

Rebecca Reed of St. Mary's, finished in third place with a 3-under 210 (69-71-70). Ainhoa Gurrachaga of UTPB tied for fourth place with Hodgson with an even par 213 (70-71-72).

Sophie Wheeler shot a 12-over 225 (75-75-75). Victoria Veator finished in a tie for 55^th place with a 23-over 236 (76-82-78).

Flagler's penultimate tournament of the regular season is April 1-2 at the Lady Moc Classic 2.0 at The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Florida.
