ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College women's golf team is ranked No. 14 in the nation, according to the latest poll by SCOREBOARD, powered by clippd, that was released Wednesday.
The Saints have an average weighted points score of 34.19. Flagler hosts the Peach Belt Conference Championship, which starts this Sunday and runs through Tuesday, at the King & Bear Course at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine.
Flagler is one of three Peach Belt Conference teams in the top 25. Lander University is No. 6 while the University of North Georgia is ranked No. 15.
Seven of the top 10 are comprised of South/Southeast Region teams. Wingate University still tops the ranking while Anderson University holds at No. 3. Nova Southeastern University is ranked No. 5 while Lynn University (No. 7), Lee University (No. 9), and Barry University (No. 10) follow.
Three Saints are ranked in the top 100 individually.
Henriette Stranda is ranked No. 3 with an AWP score of 48.03.
Tabitha Hanely checks in at No. 55 at 24.18 while
Sofia Terzoli is ranked No. 60 with an AWP of 23.32.
