LAKELAND, Fla. – Several members of the No. 4-ranked (ITA Division II Top 25) Flagler College women's tennis team dominated at the two-day Florida Southern College Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.
Flagler posted a 17-2 record in singles and an 8-1 mark in doubles.
Charlotta Buss,
Eryka Kruk,
Nadja Meier, and
Toni Pfeiffer all went 3-0 in singles play.
Leonie Floeth and Heimen posted a 2-0 record as a doubles team.
This tournament, and the next three exhibitions, will help prepare the Saints for a tough schedule coming up, including the ITA Division II Women's Team Indoor Championship which opens the regular season on Feb. 23 at Kearney, Nebraska. Flagler opens with No. 6 University of West Alabama.
