ST. AUGUSTINE – No. 4 (ITA Collegiate Division II rankings) Flagler College cruised to a 7-0 win over Palm Beach Atlantic University in a non-conference men's tennis match Saturday afternoon at the Pollard Tennis Center.
Flagler improved to 4-1 overall while Palm Beach Atlantic remained winless at 0-6. The Saints host No. 15 Washburn University on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pollard Tennis Center.
The Saints won all three doubles matches to earn the team point.
Simon Malis and
Philipp Lemken won 7-5 at No. 1 doubles.
Ilian Borlee and
Baptiste Mercier rolled to a 6-2 win while
Makary Adamek and
Asher Willenborg won by the same score at No. 3.
Flagler dominated singles play winning all six matches in straight sets.
