LAKELAND, Fla. – No. 8 (clippd Division II team ranking) Flagler College finished in third place at the 54-hole Lady Moc Classic, which wrapped up on Tuesday. The Saints shot a 23-over par 887 (294-300-293) at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club (par 72; 6,105 yards).

Stella Jelinek, ranked No. 3 by clippd, had her fourth top five finish this year, out of six tournaments, as she carded an even par 216 (72-74-70) to finish in second place. She led the field with 14 birdies. No. 65 Jordyn Hodgson finished in third place with a 2-over 218 (70-75-73), which was her season-best total for 54 holes. She was one of six golfers with 10 birdies in the tournament. Hodgson had the best average on the par-5 holes at 4.58.  

Top-ranked Nova Southeastern University finished atop the 16-team field with an 18-over 882 (291-297-294) and edged No. 7 Anderson University by four strokes. The Trojans carded a 22-over 886 (301-297-288). No. 2 Rollins College finished in fourth place with a 33-over 897 (304-296-297). Florida Southern College, the host school, finished in fifth place with a 35-over 899 (305-296-298).    

Ana Maria Jimenez Rios of the University of Tampa led the 97-woman field with a 2-under par 214 (74-69-71). She was the only golfer to break par. There was a three-way tie for fourth place after Jelinek and Hodgson.

Henriette Stranda and Victoria Veator finished in a tie for 27^th place with an 11-over 227. Finishing in a tie for 44^th place with a 16-over 232 were Shanya Arasu and Sophie Wheeler.  

Flagler will play in the Emerald Coast Classic March 10-12 at the Sandestin Baytowne Golf Club.
