ST. AUGUSTINE-
Cisel Akguel scored two goals while
Andrea Fernandez scored a goal and tallied two assists as Flagler College defeated Lander University 4-3 in a Peach Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinal match Saturday evening at Saints Field.

Flagler, the No. 3-seed, are now 8-2-5 overall and advances to the semifinal round where they will face No. 2 University of North Georgia on Nov. 15 at the Walden Soccer Complex in Columbus, Georgia. The Saints are 5-0-1 in their last six matches. Lander ended its season with an 8-3-5 overall record.

Andrea Fernandez was able to score in the first four minutes for Flagler with an assist from
Samantha St. Pierre.

After a Lander equalizer, Flagler went on to score two more times before the half ended to take control. Akguel scored the first of her two goals in the 33
rd minute and
Paige Churchill knocked in Fernandez's free kick in the 43
rd minute.
Akguel added another goal in the 64
th minute to give the Saints a commanding 4-1 lead.

Henley Grunst made three saves for the Saints and Leah Hayes Coen recorded five saves for the Bearcats.

Lander and Flagler held even at 14 shots apiece. The Bearcats held an 8-3 advantage over the Saints on corner kicks.
