ST. AUGUSTINE-
Josiah Shackelford was one of six Flagler College players to score in double figures with a game-high 24 points in a 100-85 win over Lynn University in a non-conference basketball game Wednesday night at Flagler Gym.
The Saints improve to 4-1 overall. Lynn drops to 1-1 for the season. Up next for the Saints is an away game against Edward Waters University in Jacksonville on Nov. 26 at 6 p.m.
Jaylen Jordon recorded his fifth consecutive double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Jordon made 8-of-11 from the field.
Destin Clark added 13 points and had five rebounds.
Max Hrdlicka contributed a season-high 17 points and made 5-of-10 from 3-point range.
Hoku Fisher recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists.
Jax Bouknight tallied 11 points.
Flagler posted season-highs in field goal percentage (54.2) and 3-point field goal percentage (54.8). The Saints made 17 three-pointers. That is the most 3-pointers made in a game for the program since making 17-of-40 against The University of Alabama in Huntsville, March 16, 2021 at the NCAA Division II South Region championship game at Valdosta, Georgia.
Braydon Iuli led the Fighting Knights with 21 points and five rebounds. Antione Jacks contributed 20 points. Carson Smith chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds, and had one blocked shot.
The Saints led 52-50 at the half and used a 14-6 spurt early in the second half to separate from the Fighting Knights.
Trevur Smalls capped the run with a trey with 15:38 left to give Flagler a 66-58 lead. Later, the Saints had another massive run in the second half, 20-4, to blow the game open.
