MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The No. 20 Flagler College women's soccer team blanked Georgia College & State University, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference match. Head Coach Ashley Martin earned his 100^th career win in the victory.  
 
"The team gave a very professional performance today," said Martin. "Georgia College came into the game on the back of a solid run of results and performances, so we knew that we would need to be at our best to get the result."
 
The Saints (5-1-2, 3-0-1 PBC) started the game off hot, scoring the first goal in the first four minutes. Elke Fernandez sent a pass to Liz Hall who made the finish to give Flagler an early 1-0 lead.
 
Keeping the foot on the gas, Andrea Fernandez scored in the 29^th minute to make it a 2-0 game. The Bobcats (4-4-1, 3-1 PBC) tried to get on the board and took four shots but could not keep up with the Saints who took 11 shots in the first half.
 
Andrea Fernandez netted her second goal of the day and ninth of the season to secure the 3-0 win for the Saints in the 67^th minute. Fernandez leads the PBC averaging 1.5 goals per game and 3.0 points per game.
 
Flagler held the advantage in shots (20-6), shots on goal (13-3) and corner kicks (4-1). Keeper Madison North earned her second shutout of the season and made three saves. GCSU's Kate Richardson made 10 stops in the goal.
 
The Saints return home to host No. 2 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. on Saints Field.
