ST. AUGUSTINE - The Flagler College men's soccer team earned its sixth Peach Belt Conference victory after downing the University of North Georgia, 4-1, Saturday afternoon.

North Georgia (4-8-2, 1-7-2) scored the afternoon's first goal on a penalty kick by Dawid Zajac to take a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute.

Flagler (7-3-3, 6-2-2) answered back five minutes later when
Dan McGuire sent in a corner kick from the right side of the field. North Georgia's keeper tipped the corner kick, but
Liam Fisch sent the ball into the back of the net o the rebound to knot the game at 1-1.

In the 53rd minute,
Paul Hansen tapped the ball on a short cross to McGuire who launched the ball from the edge of the box into the goal to take a 2-1 lead. About four minutes later, Fisch netted his second goal of the game just inside the box, hitting the low right corner to stretch the Saint's lead to 3-1.Â

Hansen rounded out the scoring in the 78th minute after he was assisted by Fisch. Fisch sent a pass from the end line into the box and connected with Hansen for the goal to secure the 4-1 victory.

The Saints had the advantage in shots (17-10), shots on goal (9-3) and corner kicks (8-6).
Tirso Trueba made two saves while North Georgia's Hazel Ley made five stops in goal.

Flagler travels to Georgia Southwestern State University for its final regular season road game Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
