ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — With a revamped lineup, the No. 9-ranked Flagler College men's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory over Northwood University Friday afternoon at the Flagler Tennis Center.
"We won today 6:1, which is a good win considering our brand new line-up," Flagler head men's tennis coach
Thomas Hipp said. "Hopefully our doubles chemistry will further improve for Sunday's rematch versus Delta State. Rasmus (Jonsson) clinched today again in doubles and singles, showing senior leadership in crunch time."
The Saints (2-3) will have a rematch with No. 19 Delta State University, who they faced in the ITA National Indoor Championship last weekend, back at the Flagler Tennis Center at 12 p.m. Sunday. In Oklahoma, Flagler fell to the DSU, 4-0.

Philipp Lemken won the first point in doubles, the Jonsson brothers clinched the doubles point for the second consecutive match to put Flagler ahead early.
Rasmus Jonsson was able to clinch the match in straight sets once again as
Nikita Tatyanin and Lemken won the points leading up to it in back-to-back set wins to put the Saints in position to win its second straight match.
Cedric Holzmann was back in action and secured a win after a pair of sets as did
William Jonsson. The younger Jonsson didn't allow a point in back-to-back, 6-0, set wins in what was his first collegiate singles win.
